Readiness to Move Score - Home Report Elements

The Readiness to Move (RTM) score can be found both within the email and on the Home Report landing page. The slider lets your clients select their time frame (on a scale of 1-5) for taking action, specifically:

1 = Not anytime soon
2 = Considering a move in the future
3 = Planning something in the next 1-2 years
4 = Actively preparing a move
5 = Ready to make a move now!

The check boxes at the bottom of the module allow the consumer to add a bit more information about their plans:

  • I want to upgrade (looking for a bigger or nicer house in the same area)
  • I need to move (personal circumstances have changed, may need to change cities or states)
  • I want to invest (looking for an investment property or second home)

Readiness to Move (RTM) Alerts to LOs

If a consumer selects an initial score of 3 or higher, or moves their existing score to 3 or higher, Home Report will automatically email the lead owner (that’s you!).

Readiness score of 3 or higher: Why 3 or higher? Because this indicates that moving/purchasing plans have moved from the concept stage (would like/might) to active planning (want to/will). Also because it indicates a reasonable time frame (next 0-2 years), it makes sense for you to get in touch now.

Get in Touch Now Button: There is a “Get in Touch Now” button at the bottom of the module. If clicked, we provide the consumer with a contact form that already includes their newly selected RTM score and additional info from the check boxes (if any were selected). The consumer can then add additional commentary - and they usually do!


Activity Feed

Use the table in the Home Report tab within your ListReports account to monitor changes and updates to this score.


Where to Find It

The Readiness to Move module can be found in both: 1) the monthly email (Subject: Scott Brixen’s Home Report for 123 Grover Street, Cleveland OH is ready!), and 2) the Home Report itself.

Please Note: After a consumer rates or makes or changes their RTM score, we hide the Readiness to Move module in the email (but never the Home Report itself) for 3 months.


Future Plans

We’ve got big plans for the Readiness to Move (RTM) module! These include:

  • Consumer Reminders: Sending reminders to consumers that they might want to update their RTM score. For example, “6 months ago, you indicated that you might be looking to move in the next 1-2 years. Are you getting closer to taking action? Update your RTM score here.”
  • RTM Score-specific content: For example, a consumer that gave themselves a RTM score of 3 could receive special content regarding budgeting, preparing their home for an eventual sale, etc.
  • Is it time to update your RTM? Prompting changes to the RTM score based on activity they are taking elsewhere in the Home Report. For instance, if a consumer has been looking at multiple listings each month, we could hit them with an in-product modal: “Hey Scott! You’re checking out a lot of properties. Looks like you’re getting more interested in making a move. Would you like to update your RTM score?”
