Export Instructions by LOS and CRM Tool

The fastest way to get your clients into Home Report is to pull a bulk export from your existing LOS or CRM and upload it directly. This article walks you through how to do that for the most common platforms used in the mortgage industry.

Once you have your file ready, head to Bulk Upload your Clients in Home Report for upload instructions.

Don't see your system below? Check your platform's Contacts, Pipeline, or Reports section — most tools have some version of an Export to CSV or Export to Excel option. Pull as many fields as you can; our team will clean your file so don't worry about extra fields.

What to Include in Your Export

When pulling your file, aim to include as many of these fields as possible:

Required — your client won't be sent a Home Report without these:

  • First Name and Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Property Address (Street, City, State, ZIP)

Highly recommended — these fields make Home Report more personalized and useful for your clients (we will do our best to fill in missing data with what we have in our own database):

  • Loan Amount
  • Interest Rate
  • Transaction Date
  • Purchase Price
  • Loan Term
  • Loan Type

Also supported for Loan Officers:

  • Paired Agent Name
  • Paired Agent Email

Loan Origination Systems (LOS)

Encompass (ICE Mortgage Technology)

Best path: Pipeline → Export to Excel

Note: These steps apply to the Encompass desktop client. If your company uses the web-based version of Encompass, the export controls look different — check with your Encompass administrator for guidance specific to your setup.

Encompass stores your closed and funded loans in the Pipeline tab, which is where you'll want to start.

  1. Open the Pipeline tab in Encompass.
  2. Use the View dropdown to select a view that includes borrower contact and loan fields — at minimum: first name, last name, email, property address, city, state, ZIP, loan amount, interest rate, loan term, and close date. No view has all of these? Click New View to build one.
  3. Filter the Loan Folder to your closed loans (typically "Closed Loans" or "Completed Loans").
  4. Set your date range. For a first import, pulling the last 3-5 years is a good starting point.
  5. Click anywhere in the pipeline grid and press Ctrl + A to select everything.
  6. Right-click and choose Export to Excel or look for the Excel icon in the toolbar, depending on your version.
  7. Save the file and upload it via Bulk Upload.

A few things to check before uploading:

  • Make sure your address field(s) includes all of the following: Street, City, State, ZIP.
  • Seeing a blank email column? That's controlled at the admin level in Encompass. Your company's Encompass administrator can add the email field through Settings then click Reporting Database. A quick message to your admin is usually all it takes.
  • Using Encompass Anywhere (hosted version)? Your export will save to a virtual drive. Move the file to your local computer before uploading.
  • Export access in Encompass is permission-controlled. If you don't see the export option after right-clicking, contact your Encompass administrator to have it enabled for your account.

Alternate path: Contacts tab

If you keep your Borrower Contacts list up to date, you can right-click then click Export to CSV from there. That said, most loan officers find the Pipeline path gives them more complete data.

Arive

Helpful Tip: Reports are not available for Contract Processor accounts. If you're logged in under that role, you'll need to use a Loan Officer account to run the export.

  1. In Arive, go to Reports in the top navigation and select Pipeline Reports.
  2. Click + New Report in the upper right. Give it a name and set visibility.
  3. Use + Add Filters to scope down to the loans you want to include.
  4. Click Manage to configure your columns. Include: borrower first/last name, email, property address, ZIP, loan amount, interest rate, loan term, loan purpose, and closing date.
  5. Click Update, then Add Report to save your configuration.
  6. Click Export and save the file as a .csv.
  7. Upload via Bulk Upload.

Vendor documentation: Generate Pipeline Reports (Arive)

Byte / BytePro

Byte's export capabilities depend on how your company has configured user permissions. Some users have access to a built-in Report Builder that can export data directly; others will need to go through an internal Byte administrator. If you're unsure what access you have, reach out to your admin first — they may be able to pull the report faster than vendor support.

If no internal option is available, contact Byte support and request a client data export. Ask for: name, email, property address, ZIP, and loan details. Once you have the file, upload it via Bulk Upload.

Calyx Point

Best path: Reports & Marketing → Generate Report → Export

  1. In Calyx Point, open the Reports & Marketing section from the left navigation panel.
  2. Select your data folders and choose a report from the dropdown.
  3. Apply filters to narrow your results — you can filter by status, date range, originator, and processor.
  4. Click Generate to run the report.
  5. To export as CSV: go to File → Export → Custom ASCII and choose comma-delimited format.
  6. To export as Excel: use the Excel output controls available after the report generates.
  7. Upload via Bulk Upload.

Helpful Tip: Available fields in your report depend on what's been configured in your Point setup. If you're missing fields, check with your Calyx administrator.

Empower (Dark Matter Technologies)

Empower is an enterprise LOS commonly used by larger lending organizations. Bulk data exports are not self-serve for individual loan officers — access is managed at the company level by your IT or data team.

Reach out to your IT or data team (or your company's reporting administrator) and ask for a CSV export that includes: borrower's name, borrower's email, property address (including street, city, state and ZIP code), loan amount, purchase price, interest rate, loan term, and transaction date. Once you have it, upload via Bulk Upload.

LendingPad

Helpful Note: LendingPad's export format is .xlsx (Excel). You will need to convert the file to a .CSV or .XLS format. You can do so by converting the file after downloading by saving it as CSV or XLS file from Excel. Reports are also limited to 2,000 records per run. If you have more than 2,000 clients, you'll need to split your export into multiple date ranges.

  1. From the top navigation, click Reports.
  2. Find an existing report that includes borrower contact and loan details, or build a custom one. Include: first/last name, email, property address, ZIP, loan amount, interest rate, and close date. (LendingPad supports up to 50 fields per report.)
  3. Run the report, then click Add to Export Queue.
  4. Click Export Queue to view your queued exports, then click Download when the file is ready.
  5. Upload via Bulk Upload.

LenderQB / MeridianLink Mortgage

MeridianLink Mortgage (formerly LenderQB) doesn't have a self-serve export option for individual loan officers. Your company's admin or IT team manages bulk data pulls.

Ask your administrator to run a custom report that includes: borrower name, email, property address, ZIP, loan amount, interest rate, loan term, and close date, and have them export it as CSV or Excel. Once you receive the file, upload via Bulk Upload.

CRMs

Big Purple Dot

Head to Contacts then click Export to download your contacts. For a full walkthrough, see Exporting Leads from Big Purple Dot.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Smaller lists download immediately. Larger exports are emailed to you — allow up to 15 minutes for the file to arrive.
  • The export option may need to be enabled by Big Purple Dot support before it appears in your account. Contact support@bigpurpledot.com or call (949) 558-0511 if you don't see it — note that the Account Owner needs to be the one to request access.

BNTouch

BNTouch supports CSV exports, though the specific steps can vary depending on your account setup. Check inside your account for an export option, or contact BNTouch support for current step-by-step guidance tailored to your version.

Once you have your file, upload via Bulk Upload.

Follow Up Boss

  1. Click People in the main menu.
  2. Filter your list as needed, then use the checkbox in the top left to select all visible contacts.
  3. If your list has multiple pages, click the Select all [X] people in this list prompt that appears in blue.
  4. Click the Export icon (the downward arrow icon in the toolbar).
  5. Make sure to check "Export all columns" — skipping this is the most common reason email and address data doesn't appear in the export.
  6. Click Yes, export people. The file will download to your browser's Downloads folder.
  7. Upload via Bulk Upload.

A few things to know:

  • You'll need the "Can Export" permission to see the export button. If it's not visible, ask your Follow Up Boss account owner to enable it under Admin → Teams.
  • FUB notifies the account owner each time an export is run.
  • If any of your clients have ZIP codes starting with 0 (e.g., 02134), Excel may strip the leading zero. Go to Format → Number in Excel to fix this before uploading.

Jungo

Since Jungo runs on Salesforce, you'll use Salesforce's Data Export Service to pull your data. You'll need Primary User or System Administrator access to do this.

  1. Click your name in the top right.
  2. Click Setup.
  3. Type Data Export in the Quick Find box and click Data Export.
  4. Select Export Now or Schedule Export.
  5. Choose the Contact object, along with any Jungo mortgage-specific objects. Exporting by object (rather than everything) keeps the file size manageable.
  6. Click Start Export. Salesforce will send you an email when your file is ready — depending on data size, this can take a few hours.
  7. Download the .zip file from the email within 48 hours — Salesforce deletes it after that. If you trigger a new export before the window closes, the prior file is immediately deleted.
  8. Unzip the folder, locate the Contacts CSV, and upload it via Bulk Upload.

Note: If you don't have admin access, ask your Jungo administrator to run the export for you. Also note that export frequency is limited by your Salesforce edition — most editions allow weekly exports; some are monthly only.

Pipedrive

Option 1 — Export from list view (available to users with export permissions):

  1. Open the People list (or Deals, if your loans are tracked as deals with linked contacts).
  2. Apply a filter to pull only the contacts you want — for example, "Won deals" to focus on closed loans.
  3. Use the gear icon to configure which columns to include: email, address, ZIP, and any loan-related fields.
  4. Click "..."Export filter results and choose CSV or Excel. The file downloads immediately.

Option 2 — Export from the Export data tab (global admins only):

  1. Go to your account menu → Tools and Apps → Export data.
  2. Select the data type you want to export and choose your format.
  3. Click Export — the file will appear in a "Generated exports" queue to download.

Note: Exported files from either method expire after 28 days. If you don't see the export option, ask your Pipedrive admin to enable export permissions for your account.

Surefire

Individual loan officers can't pull bulk exports directly from Surefire — that access sits with your company's Surefire administrator or marketing ops team. (Note: Surefire's help center now requires a login to access, so direct your admin there for detailed steps.)

Get in touch with your administrator and ask for a CSV export of your contacts that includes: borrower email, property address, and loan details. Once you have the file, upload it via Bulk Upload.

Total Expert

  1. From the left navigation, go to Leads & Contacts then click Contacts.
  2. Apply any filters you want, then save your contact list (exported files follow whatever filters you have active).
  3. Click Export CSV on the right side of the page.
  4. Select With current applied filters or With no applied filters depending on what you need.
  5. Click Export CSV — the file downloads to your desktop.
  6. Upload via Bulk Upload.

Note: The Export CSV button is permission-controlled. If you don't see it, your company's marketing or admin team can grant access or run the export on your behalf.

Usherpa

Usherpa has a built-in self-serve export. Here's how to use it:

  1. Go to the Relationships tab → All Contacts.
  2. Click the gray checkbox in the left column to select all contacts.
  3. Go to the Actions box and click Export to Excel.
  4. The file will download as an Excel file (.xlsx). If you need a CSV, save it from Excel as CSV before uploading.

Velocify (ICE Mortgage Technology)

For larger lists (100+ leads) — use Custom Reports:

Note: Custom Reports is part of Velocify's Advanced Edition. If it's not visible in your account, contact Velocify support to confirm your access level or request it be enabled.

  1. Open Custom Reports in Velocify LeadManager.
  2. Click Create New Report in the upper left.
  3. Set Base Data to Leads and name your report.
  4. Choose your columns: first name, last name, email, property address, ZIP, and any loan fields you track.
  5. Add filters to narrow your results (e.g., status = closed/funded).
  6. Click Save & Run.
  7. Click Export to Excel — despite the label, this downloads a CSV file.
  8. Upload via Bulk Upload.

For smaller lists (100 or fewer leads) — use Normal View:

  1. Go to View Leads in Normal View.
  2. Check the box next to each lead you want to export.
  3. Click the Lead Control Arrow at the top of the Selection Column.
  4. Click Export Leads — a CSV will download automatically.

General-Purpose CRMs

DOMO

DOMO is a BI platform, so what data is available depends on how your company's analytics team has it configured. To export:

  1. Go to Data then click DataSets.
  2. Find the dataset containing your closed-loan borrower records.
  3. Click the three-dot menu (…)
  4. Click Export data then choose CSV.

Note: You'll need at least Editor or Co-owner access to the dataset to export it. Participant-role users don't have export access. Excel exports are capped at 1 million rows.

HubSpot

  1. In HubSpot, navigate to CRM then click Contacts.
  2. Apply filters to target the contacts you want to export.
  3. Click Export in the top right of the contacts list.
  4. In the export dialog, click Customize and select All properties on records for the most complete export.
  5. Choose CSV.
  6. Click Export. HubSpot will email you a download link — large lists may take a few minutes to generate. Download links expire after 30 days.
  7. Upload via Bulk Upload.

Note: Exporting in HubSpot requires the "Export" CRM permission. If you don't see the Export button, ask your HubSpot admin to grant you access.

Vendor documentation: Export Your Records (HubSpot)

Salesforce

Best path: Run a report and export

  1. Open or build a Contacts or Leads report that includes name, email, address, ZIP, and any relevant loan fields.
  2. From the report view, click the dropdown arrow next to Edit (top right) and select Export.
  3. Choose Details Only — not Formatted Report. This is the format that imports cleanly into other tools and avoids field truncation.
  4. Download as CSV or .XLS Excel file format.
  5. Upload via Bulk Upload.

A couple of things to know:

  • You'll need the "Export Reports" permission enabled in your Salesforce profile to see the export option.
  • Standard report exports may be capped at around 2,000 rows in some older Salesforce configurations. If you have a large contact list, your Salesforce admin can use Data Loader to pull a full export.
