Trade Up! home price game – Home Report Elements

Our first listing-related game is live inside the Home Report! It’s called Trade Up! and it’s designed to be fun and educational. We’ve seen strong early engagement with Trade Up! and plan to add 2-3 more “Playhouse” games in 2026 to keep clients engaged and test their real estate and market knowledge. It’s like The Price is Right for property.

Details

Today, Trade Up! is accessible via the Home Report email and a small module inside the Home tab of the Home Report. In time, all the “Playhouse” games will have dedicated access from within the Home Report.

In Trade Up!, players are asked to select a base property (it defaults to their own house). They are then shown a series of other listings in their area - with only the basic listing information revealed - and asked if that property is more or less expensive than their base property. It’s a fun and easy way to learn more about home pricing dynamics in their area.

In the future, we’ll be adding more games, like:

  1. The Appraising Race: Players can enter any US city and submit a guess for the price of a property based on one photo and bed/bath count.
  2. Guess the State: Players must identify which state each listing is from using property characteristics, price and appearance. 5 questions per round and multiple choice!

Where to Find It

This module is found under the Home tab in your client’s Home Report. The callout looks like this:
